Testing is how we decide what goes into a Wild + Well-Fed product. Every product is lab tested for the contaminants that matter most for that ingredient. Depending on the product, testing is done by an independent third-party lab or by the manufacturer's own lab.

How we source

Coffee. Specialty grade beans from certified organic growers' cooperatives in Peru and Honduras. The beans are wet-processed (the fruit is removed before drying) and roasted to order in small batches.  Our decaf is decaffeinated with the water-based Swiss Water Process.

Matcha. USDA Organic, ceremonial grade matcha from family-owned, multi-generational farms in Japan's traditional growing regions. First-harvest, shade-grown leaves are hand picked and stone ground.

Sea salt. Harvested from high-salinity seawater off South Australia and crystallized naturally by the sun, with nothing added. 

Magnesium glycinate. Fully chelated magnesium glycinate from natural magnesium sources (magnesite and dolomite), made to our specifications in a bovine gelatin capsule, without added fillers or flow agents.

Shilajit. Gold-grade shilajit, hand harvested in the Himalayan mountains of India, dried at low temperature and encapsulated in bovine gelatin, without added fillers.

Herbal tinctures. Whole-herb extracts made in small batches by a clinically oriented herbal company owned by herbalists trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, from recipes based on Laura's own home remedies.
